  2. I’ve played Going on a Picnic with my students years ago. It went well then and I will put it on my back-to-school list of activities. My family played alphabet based games while on road trips. Find items that began with a certain letter mentioned before we arrived at our destination. We also played the license plate game. Find as many state license plates as possible on a road trip. Thanks for bringing back memories and ideas to use in the classroom.
